This Sunday, July 24th, the team at OMG are set to embark on an exhilarating and gruelling head to head race to raise much needed funds for UK Blood Cancer Charity Anthony Nolan.

We have 16 volunteers who will take part in a Dragon Boat race, an ancient tradition originating in China over 4,000 years ago.

The race will push the team to the max, challenging their physical and mental abilities to the full. A drummer beats out a rhythm for the paddlers to race a brightly painted 30ft Hong Kong style dragon boat across Whitlingham Broad in Norfolk.

There are 1,600 people in the UK in need of a stem cell transplant, which is usually their last hope of survival in the fight against blood cancer. There are currently over 400,000 people on the Anthony Nolan register, but the charity would like to raise funds so that they can grow this to one million potential donors.
